Turkish World Cultural Day 2026
Tuesday, April 14, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., discover the richness of Turkish culture!
This cultural day will enable you to discover Turkish culture through traditional dances such as the Zeybek and Roman Havası, as well as musical performances with the ney and saz.
Workshops, including Ottoman calligraphy (Hüsn-ü Hat), will also be on offer.
A moment of discovery and sharing around Turkish cultural heritage organized by student association ADET.
Program
Hall 2 (10am - 3pm)
- Buffet of Turkish specialties
- Hüsn-ü Hat workshop (Ottoman calligraphy)
- Ebru workshop (traditional Turkish art)
- Exhibition and sale of Turkish cultural items
Foyer (10:30am - 2pm)
- Stand of traditional outfits and photo area
- Presentation of traditional henna (kına) and introduction to Orkhon inscriptions
- Traditional Turkish games
- Presentation of Turkish historical figures (portraits and biographies)
Auditorium (2pm - 6pm)
- Conference "What's the point of the Turkish world concept today? "
- Saz performance
- Interactive cultural quiz
- Theatrical performance: "Katibim"
- Artistic performances (singing, poetry, violin and piano)
- Traditional dances: Roman havası, Horon and Zeybek
