Tibet Cultural Day
The Confluences Tibétaines association is pleased to invite you to the Tibetan Cultural Day on Tuesday, December 17.
The festivities will begin with a free tasting of Tibetan dishes. During this time, it will also be possible to learn the Tibetan dice game from two teachers. The end of the buffet will be rounded off with some a cappella singing.
Then it's off to the auditorium, with a short detour to the Foyer to learn a Tibetan song. The afternoon film program will focus on the southern slopes of the Himalayas, taking participants to Nepal and India.
In the evening, back to the homelands, with an exploration of Tibetan society and its adaptations to the terrain, as well as the perpetuation of its links to the living. In between, a colorful show will link these two spaces: the north, cradle of Tibetan culture, and the south, place of exile and preservation of these traditions.
