The Latvian language lecturers at INALCO are offering an introductory course in the Latvian language. Open to all, it will take place at the Latvian Embassy in France.
The course will be followed by drinks in the Embassy’s reception room.
The Latvian language (latviešu valoda) is spoken by two million people. It is the official language of Latvia and one of the languages of the European Union.
The teaching of Latvian at INALCO dates back to the 1930s. INALCO is the only French higher education institution – and one of the very few in Europe – to offer a full degree programme in Latvian.
