Comidie at two o'clock / Полдень

What do a courtroom and a theater have in common? And what sets them apart? Can we put an end to injustice by stepping out of the game, breaking the script written by another? Can we condemn a deceiver who has gone too far? Can we condemn a tartuffery that has gone too far?
This show is the fruit of a documentary theater workshop whose sessions were held over two months under the direction of playwright Andrei Stadnikov, accompanied by Elena Gordienko, a teacher of Russian at Inalco.
The spectators will discover a play constructed from documentary and fictional texts assembled by the participants. Trials of real-life activists - from demonstrators on Red Square one noon in 1968 to contemporary political prisoners - are interwoven with the famous trial scene from "Alice in Wonderland".
The show is presented in Russian and French.
