Michel Chicouène was a scrupulous and tireless architect of the rethinking of Russian and Lithuanian grammars. Throughout his teaching career at Inalco (1965-2001), he showed how scientific discoveries can be born from the search for a "pedagogical grammar" and the innovations that flow from it. It's time for his precious legacy to be extended to a new audience. The republications, unpublished works, analyses and testimonials contained in this collection are intended to contribute to this.
