The Innovation France Vietnam project revolves around the production of two main deliverables:

  • a mapping of the main innovation players in Vietnam: universities, incubators and start-ups
  • an associated trilingual (French, Vietnamese, English) "Innovation" lexicon presented in electronic form (Moodle+ platform hosted by Inalco)

It includes the creation of a web page dedicated to information and communication on the progress of the project, the collection of all the documents required to deliver the deliverables, and the feeding of the Moodle+ learning platform with qualified information.

This study of the innovation ecosystem in Vietnam is being led by a team of Inalco members comprising Dr. Jean-Philippe Eglinger, project leader, pedagogical director of Continuing Education, PAST Filière Commerce International Inalco and researcher at PLIDAM (Inalco); two Master 1 students from Inalco's Filière Communication et Formation Interculturelles, Ms Đỗ Hoàng Oanh and Mr Tanguy Boucher, as well as Professor Đào Huy Linh, director of the Vietnam Section at Inalco and statutory researcher at the Centre de Recherches Linguistiques sur l'Asie Orientale(CRLAO, UMR 8563), CNRS-EHESS-INALCO.

This project, which has a long-term perspective, plans to expand the group to include other stakeholders, and is the first phase in the implementation of a larger initiative.

Two phases of restitution are scheduled for 2025:

  • end of May 2025: presentation of the project (with a visit by the professor to Vietnam)

  • December 2025: communication of the project's final results
