Over four days, researchers, practitioners and institutional players will analyze contemporary urban transformations from a comparative and international perspective.

The program is structured both by the big regions of the world - South, East, North - and by transversal themes, notably water, energy and the built environment. This dual entry allows us to address urban issues in their geographical diversity while highlighting the material and political challenges common to contemporary cities.

The Spring School will alternatelectures, case studies and methodological workshops, in a stimulating dialogue between academic approaches and field experience. The national and international speakers will offer situated and comparative analyses, enabling participants to acquire skillsin urban, comparative and global analysis, in governance and territorial negotiation, in citizen participation, as well as in critical tools for public action applied to the issues of water, energy and buildings.
