Assila - Students' association of the Arabic studies department

Assila is the association of Inalco's Department of Arab Studies. Our aim is to establish a link between Paris and the Arab world, hence our name "Assila" "الصلة" which means "the link" in Arabic. We represent a vast geographical area spanning two continents and made up of 23 countries.

More about us

We live through various events and activities organized throughout the academic year by our active members: introductory workshops in an Arabic dialect, tutoring, calligraphy workshop, dance workshop, trips, cultural days and much more. You can submit your ideas and projects to us, and the association will be delighted to discuss your ideas and implement your projects, wherever possible.

INITIATION TO THE ALGERIAN DIALECT OF TLEMCEN

Do you want to get back in touch with your roots, or simply learn an Algerian dialect different from that of the capital? The Tlemcen dialect initiation workshop is for you!

Join us every Friday from 5pm to 7pm in 4.07 to learn this dialect in the company of Myriam, our active member originally from Tlemcen. No prerequisites are necessary, the workshop is open to beginners and Arabic speakers, you'll just need to be diligent and serious.
