Spatial Asymmetries across Languages: a Typological Approach

Project summary: The aim of this project is to study the conceptual domain of movement, in particular structural and functional asymmetries in the expression of trajectory, especially those related to dynamic deixis, border crossing and the vertical axis, based on the study of 30 typologically and genealogically varied languages.
