The Board of Directors

Elections for the renewal of first-year student seats: they will be held from November 27 to 29 (1st round) and from December 4 to 6, 2023 (2nd round).

The Board of Directors is a central body where the institute's general policy is decided and its rules of life determined. Students therefore have an important place on it, and only a high turnout will make your representatives legitimate during debates.

Student representatives are committed to defending your interests on the Board of Directors alongside representatives of the teaching and administrative staff.
All students regularly enrolled at Inalco in their 1st year of undergraduate studies are eligible to vote and be elected to the Board of Directors.

Application forms are available to download here.

Application filing is open and takes place from November 10 to November 21, 2023.

Department councils

By-elections to department councils will be held from November 27 to 29, 2023 (single round).

Each Inalco department has a council. Issues specific to the operation of each department are discussed with student representatives. The number of student representatives varies from department to department. Students enrolled in a degree course offered by a department are eligible to vote and to stand for election to the college of student representatives on the departmental council.

Students enrolled in two departments may vote in each of the departments in which they are enrolled.
Students enrolled in master's courses vote twice, once to elect their representative to the council of the department of linguistic and areal training to which the oriental language they are studying is attached, and once to elect their representative to the council of master's courses.

Application forms are available to download here.

Application submissions are open and take place from November 10 to 21, 2023.
