Chinese
Chinese has been taught at Inalco since 1840. This language, which has the status of national language in People's China, Taiwan and Singapore, is spoken by over a fifth of the world's population; Chinese is also one of the six official languages used at the UN.
The Chinese taught at Formation Continue is the standard modern language. Mandarin is the language of communication for Chinese from the mainland and the Chinese diaspora. Mandarin learning at Formation Continue focuses on simplified characters, unlike Taiwanese Mandarin, which is accessed on traditional characters.

- if your score is between 20,000 and 25,000 points, you can move up to the next level, but you'll need to study some of the points in the lower level again.
- if you obtain a score below 20000, your level appears to be insufficient to integrate the level in question.
