At Inalco, you can learn one of over a hundred languages taught at our institute, and acquire a cultural awareness of a country or geographical area.
Inalco's continuing education department helps you to:
- Resuming studies,
- Making a Validation des Acquis de l'Expérience (VAE),
- Preparing for certification: JLPT
- Learn or improve in a language face-to-face or distance learning (FOAD):
- Create customized training courses, according to the needs of your company, administration or local authority (individual/in-house).

All languages taught at Inalco can be taught in group courses, intensive language courses, saturday language courses, evening language courses (subject to a minimum number of trainees), individual or small group courses. Training courses can take place at Inalco or at the workplace, in line with a company's request.
All our trainers are qualified in the language they teach and have solid experience of teaching Oriental languages in a professional context.

You finance your own training
For personal financing, Formation Continue mainly offers payment on site by credit card or remotely by secure payment via Paybox Mail.
Occasionally, payment by bank transfer is possible, no later than 15 days before the training start date.
An organization finances your training
An organization finances your training
To apply for reimbursement, we advise you to find out:
- from France Compétences or the OPCOs
- from the State through Pôle Emploi and the region
- from the Projet de Transition professionnel via the Commission paritaire interprofessionnelle régionale (CPIR)
After you have found out, we will be happy to draw up a quote for you.
In order to send you your quote, we need to know:
- your first and last name
- the training course you wish to follow
- the language chosen
- the NAME and postal address of the company, OPCO or Pôle Emploi

Frequently asked questions
1. When do the language courses take place?
We offer two formulas to choose from throughout the year excluding school vacation periods: evening courses and Saturday courses. The timetable is as follows: - evening classes: one evening of the week from 7pm to 9pm - Saturday classes: from 9.30am to 1.30pm.
We also offer intensive courses either Monday to Friday from 10am to 5pm, one in January and one in July. Or Friday evenings and Saturday mornings as distance learning courses, one from January to February, and the other from June to July. 2. When does the school year start (evening and Saturday language courses)?
Generally on the Monday of the last week in September. The calendar for the year can be downloaded from the website.
